Charlotte Dellal, the glamorous fashion designer behind the Charlotte Olympia shoe label, was feeling fruity for spring. Her amazing pair of heels are decorated with interlaced pineapples, bananas, strawberries and watermelons. The collection also includes a banana bag. “They are tongue in cheek but wearable,” Dellal says. “I like accessories which have a sense of humour.” Her inspiration was the Brazilian bombshell and samba singer, Carmen Miranda, famous for her fruit-laden hat.
Cheryl Cole was spotted the trend as well , donning a pair of Miu Miu’s red apple earrings while at the X Factor studio earlier this month.
